Zabu is a sabertooth tiger living in the Savage Land. He is the faithful friend to Ka-Zar.

Zabu's family was killed when he was a cub. He wandered the Savage Land alone until he grew to an adult. Then he found a young Ka-Zar and helped him survive until he was grown. He was also the last surviving Saber Tooth Tiger.

Has the intelligence of a human thanks to radioactive mists.
