The Xavier Mansion is a mansion owned and run by Charles Xavier. it is located in Bayville, New York.
Facility[]
The mansion on top appears to be an ordinary large house. There are numerous rooms for the staff and students, community bathrooms, a kitchen, plus various recreation areas.
There is a pool out back where the people relax as well as water-based training.
Underneath lies an enormous technological facility.
The team trains in the Danger Room. There is a large hanger for the X-Jet.
Cerebro lies in a large circular room.
The entire facility can be locked down, preventing any entry or exit, in case of emergency.
History[]
The history of the mansion is unknown. It was likely built many generations ago and passed through the family.
Charles likely put in the underground elements himself for the X-Men, though it is unknown how he was able to build or pay for it.
The mansion served as the headquarters of the X-Men.
Charles's step-brother Juggernaut attacked the mansion to kill Charles.
Eventually, Mystique disguised herself as Charles and blew up the mansion. Cyclops saved himself and others by hiding in Cerebro.
The mansion was eventually rebuilt.
Background[]
First animated version to use the round Cerebro room, which was introduced in the first X-Men film. Also the first to use the holographic Star Trek-like Danger Room.
Third of four versions of the mansion to be destroyed following "Pryde of the X-Men" and X-Men and preceding Wolverine and the X-Men.
