X-Men: Darktide is a short animated film based on the X-Men. It is based on the Minimates toyline.
At a Football stadium the X-Men (consisting of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Archangel, Wolverine and Beast) defeat several Sentinels. After defeating the Sentinels, Charles Xavier contacts the X-Men and tells them that he lost telepathic communication with Storm. The X-Men track Storm to an abandoned oilrig in the Atlantic Ocean and go to rescue her. When Archangel scouts ahead he finds Storm and rescues her. However, Storm turns out to be Mystique in disguise and she attacks him. When the X-Men arrive at the oilrig they are attacked my Magneto. Juggernaut tackles Archangel and they both fall into the ocean, but Archangel is able to get back onto the oilrig. Magneto uses his power to raise a sunk cargo ship out of the ocean and drops it on top of Jean and Cyclops. However, Jean uses her power to create an telepathic forcefield which protects them. Magneto reveals to the X-Men that he is planning on using the drills on the oilrig to pierce the Earth's core which will stop the planets rotation. Beast warns Magneto that if he does this all life on Earth with perish. However, Magneto replies that only homo sapiens will die but mutants will survive. However, Storm gets free and blasts Magneto with lightning which knocks him out. As the oilrig starts to fall apart Magneto and Mystique escape. The X-Men also leave on the Blackbird. As the sun rises, Juggernaut walks on the ocean floor and makes it to the shore.
