Vashti is the Grand Vizier of Atlantis.
Biography[]
Vashti was a peasant that lived on the outskirts of Atlantis. When Krang seized the throne from Namor, Namor began a quest to find the Trident of Neptune. When Krang began to oppress the people of Atlantis, Vashti found Namor and told him of what Krang was doing. Namor returned to Atlantis with the trident and defeated Krang. As thanks for helping him re-take his throne, Namor made Vashti the Grand Vizier of Atlantis.
The Trident of Neptune was later stolen and all evidence pointed to Lord Vashti as the culprit. However, Vashti was framed by Attuma who really committed the crime. Attuma had also kidnapped Vashti to lure Namor into a trap. Vashti was later rescued by Namor. However, when Vashti returned to Atlantis he was captured by Attuma who had taken over Atlantis. Attuma planned on torturing Vashti so that he would reveal where Namor was. However, Namor arrived and defeated Attuma. Since Vashti suffered the most at Attuma's hands, Namor decided to let Vashti chose Attuma's punishment. However, Vashti was merciful and decided to banish Attuma from Atlantis forever.
