The boys are back in town as Hulu has announced that their series Hit Monkey is getting a second season order. Actors Fred Tatasciore, Jason Sudeikis, Ally Maki, and Olivia Munn are returning and will be joined by Leslie Jones of Saturday Night Live fame. The series was created by Josh Gordon and Will Speck. While no details, the season will feature Hit-Monkey and Bryce going to New York City. No release date has been announced, but Hulu said the season was coming soon.
The series was initially announced alongside M.O.D.O.K., Tigra & Dazzler, and Howard the Duck to build up to the crossover series The Offenders. However, Tigra & Dazzler and Howard the Duck were cancelled in pre-production, cancelling The Offenders in the process, while M.O.D.O.K. was cancelled after the first season aired. This makes Hit Monkey the sole series to continue on.
