Today marks the tenth anniversary of the premiere of The Incredible Hulk. The second entry in Marvel Studios's cinematic universe, the film follows Bruce Banner has he tries to evade General Ross's Hulkbusters team before they must both contend with a rogue soldier who turns himself into the fearsome Abomination. It was intended as a loose sequel to the infamous 2003 Hulk film and a reboot of the character. It was inspired by the 1978 The Incredible Hulk series featuring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno.

The film was a success with critics and moderate box office success. It did outpace it's controversial predecessor and beat the underplayed expectations placed on it.

The film gave credit to Stan Lee and Jack Kirby for writing the original comic books. It features the talents of Ty Burrell as Betty Ross's love interest and Bruce Banner rival Dr. Leonard Samson, Ferrigno as the voice of the incredible Hulk as well as cameoing as a security guard, Paul Soles as Bruce's former employer and pizza restaurant owner Stanley, Lee doing another famous cameo as a man who drinks a radioactively poisoned soda, along with Jean-Benoît Blanc, James Donald Hall, and Fred Tatasciore all doing uncredited voice work for Hulk and Abomination. It was produced by Avi Arad and Kevin Feige with Lee credited as executive producer.
