Story[]
Ultras... Once ordinary people, now super-human, spread terror across the globe. Enemies of peace include Rune, Lord Pumpkin, and Sludge. The U.S. government forms a team led by Hardcase, first Ultra to publicly reveal himself, to protect the public from terrorist Ultras. Super-strong Prime. Topaz, warrior queen. Armored Prototype. Undead Ghoul, and mysterious Contrary. They are The UltraForce.

Cancelled Spin-Off[]
According to Steve Englehart via his personal website the two-part finale of UltraForce, "Everything That Rises Must Converge" and "Jumpin' at the Boneyard", was intended to be a backdoor pilot for a Strangers animated series. However, plans for the Strangers series were cancelled following Marvel Comics purchase of Malibu Comics.[1]
