Tony Jay (February 2, 1933; died August 13, 2006) was an actor who played Galactus, Terrax, and additional voices on Fantastic Four as well as Baron Mordo on Spider-Man.
Biography
He was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. Because of his distinctive baritone voice, he was often cast in villainous roles as well as those of authority.
He is best known for playing main villain Megabyte in the ReBoot franchise. He appeared in films for Walt Disney Animation Studios as Monsieur D'Arque in Beauty and the Beast, hyenas in The Lion King, Judge Claude Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and the narrator in Treasure Planet. His song for Hunchback titled "Heaven's Light/Hellfire" is considered one of the darkest in Disney's canon.
