Thaddeus Ross is a general in the United States Army.
Biography[]
Thaddeus Ross' daughter, Betty Ross, is engaged to Bruce Banner who is a scientist that worked under General Ross at Gamma Base.
General Ross was one of Doctor Octopus' hostages when he took over Gamma Base. However, Rick Jones was able to rescue General Ross and the other hostages.
General Ross and Betty were later taken hostage by Spymaster when he stole a new laser weapon from Gamma Base called the Solar Crystallizer. However, Betty and General Ross were rescued by the Hulk who also managed to stop Spymaster.
General Ross formed the Hulkbusters to capture the Hulk and placed Ned Talbot in command of the unit.
Ross was once placed under Puppet Master's mental control by using his atomic clay. However, Ross was freed from Puppet Master's control when Rick destroyed his clay sculpture.
After Hulk saved Gamma Base from two enemy spies General Ross realized he was wrong about the Hulk and began to see him as a hero.
