|Alternate Identity||Black Panther|
The early life of T'Challa is largely unknown.
After T'Chaka had arrived into New York through the use of a cargo ship, he was confronted by a group of sailors who had assumed that he was a stowaway and attacked him. He managed to defeat the sailors and escape into the Manhattan night.
After arriving into the Avengers Mansion, T'Challa searched for the information that was about the Avengers in order to secretly discover them.
Eventually, T'Challa was about to invade the Avengers Mansion and was discovered by the Avengers. After managing to defeat them in a fight, T'Challa introduced himself to the group and told them that he had required their assistance in order to liberate Wakanda. The Avengers agreed to assist him in liberating Wakanda and flew off to Wakanda with him.
T'Challa preferred to fight Man-Ape by himself in order to avenge his father's death. He stated that no-one should interfere despite the fact that Captain America had attempted to assist him in the fight. After he defeated Man-Ape, T'Challa freed his country and became the King of Wakanda. However, he decided to become a member of the Avengers and spoke to his people about the fact that they do not have to hide. He wanted for them to modernize through changing the old ways into new ones.
T'Challa was then accepted into the Avengers due to the Wasp's persuasion.
T'Challa is voiced by James C. Mathis III.
