Surtur is a fire demon.
Biography[]
When Loki tricked Odin into going to Earth, he released Surtur and Skagg from their prisons and had them attack Earth so Odin would never return. Surtur attempted to melt the polar ice caps which would have flooded the entire planet. However, Thor was able to imprison Surtur on an asteroid in space.
