Strangers was a planned but ultimately unproduced animated series based on the superhero team from Malibu Comics. The series was going to be a spin-off of the Strangers appearance from UltraForce.
Background[]
The Strangers, minus Lady Killer and Yrial, appeared the final two episodes of UltraForce. According to Steve Englehart via his personal website the two-part finale of UltraForce, "Everything That Rises Must Converge" and "Jumpin' at the Boneyard", was intended to be a backdoor pilot for a Strangers animated series. However, plans for the Strangers series were cancelled following Marvel Comics purchase of Malibu Comics.[1]
