Spiral is an enforcer of Mojo in the Mojoverse and friend to Longshot.

Spiral captured the X-Men to make them perform in television shows against their will. While she did nothing to help them, neither did she stop Longshot from freeing them.
Spiral resurfaced pursuing Longshot to Earth. She seemingly enjoyed facing Wolverine in combat.

Spiral was voiced by Cynthia Belliveau in X-Men and by Abby Trott in X-Men '97.

Her real name is Rita Wayword.
Rita was a normal human stuntwoman when she met Longshot. She fell in love and followed him to the Mojoverse. His memories of her were erased. She was experimented on, giving her two more organic and two robotic arms. She was driven insane by the ability to see into other dimensions.
She can also teleport, time travel, and wield magic.
Was sent back in time to set up the events that led to her entering the Mojoverse.
Joined a version of the Brotherhood of Mutants. While with them, she defeated the X-Men and the Avengers.
Helped turn Lady Deathstrike into a cyborg.
