Spike and the Yancy Street Gang often bullied Benji Grimm, Kelly Harkness, Betty Harkness and Ronald Radford.
When Banji, Kelly, Betty and Ronald tried to build a playground on the land that the Yancy Street Gang clubhouse was located on, Spike tried to sabotage them.
Spike and the Yancy Street Gang accidentally caused a stampede at a circus and Thing had to stop it.
Spike had his girlfriend, Sophie Hicknlooper, run against Betty Harkness for homecoming queen. Spike and the Yancy Street Gang tried to get Sophie to win by sabotaging Betty's campaign. However, Betty was still elected homecoming queen.
