Spider-Man Safety Series was a series of four educational direct-to-video short films.
Background[]
Spider-Man Safety Series was jointly produced by Marvel Productions and Learning Corporation of America in 1990. VHS copies of each episode were distributed to elementary school classrooms and also included lesson plans for the teacher to work with their students on. In each episode Spider-Man would teach children what to do if they were ever in potentially dangerous situations.
Since these videos were only made available to elementary schools VHS copies are extremely hard to find and two of the episodes are considered lost. The only episodes that are available to the public are "Don't Hide Abuse" and "What To Do About Drugs" which have been uploaded to YouTube.
