- Silver Surfer is from the Non MAU series Fantastic Four.
Silver Surfer was a herald of Galactus and found planets for his master to feed on. However, Silver Surfer decided to save Earth from Galactus after meeting Invisible Girl.
Biography[]
Silver Surfer was the herald of Galactus. His job was to locate planets so Galactus could feed on their life energy. When Silver Surfer found Earth, he contacted Galactus and informed him of the planet he had found. However, Silver Surfer was knocked over the side of the building by Thing. Silver Surfer was found by Invisible Girl who nursed his wounds. When Invisible Woman learned of Galactus' plan to drain Earth of all its life energy she was able to show Silver Surfer how precious all life is and convinced him to defy his master. Silver Surfer fought Galactus until Human Torch returned with the Ultimate Nullifier, the only weapon powerful enough to destroy Galactus. Galactus then promised to leave Earth alone. After defeating Galactus, the Fantastic Four invited Silver Surfer to join them. However, Silver Surfer said that his place was soaring the galaxy and he left Earth.

He became Galactus's Herald to spare his planet from the Devourer of Worlds.
It was Alicia Masters who convinced Silver Surfer to turn against Galactus, not Invisible Girl.
After stopping Galactus, Galactus placed a barrier around Earth that Silver Surfer could not cross. In this version, Silver Surfer was still able to leave Earth and explore the cosmos.
