Rocket & Groot was a mini-series that lasted from March 13th, 2017 to April 10th, 2017. It is the first to follow the two characters, though both are main characters on Guardians of the Galaxy.
The series lasted twelve episodes. The episodes aired online individually before premiering all together on Disney XD.
Animation was done by Passion Pictures, inspired by the look of Skottie Young. They were directed by Arnaud Delord, written by Chris Wyatt and Kevin Burke, while executive producers were Cara Speller, Alan Fine, Dan Buckley, Joe Quesada, Cort Lane, Stephen Wacker, and Stan Lee.
The series featured Trevor Devall and Kevin Michael Richardson as Rocket and Groot, respectively, reprising their characters on Guardians of the Galaxy.
