Rick Jones is a teenager who is sometimes seen with Dr. Bruce Banner. He is a loyal friend to the Hulk.
Biography[]
Rick Jones was late for his date with Rita so he decided to take a shortcut through the old missile test site. However, unknown to Rick the Army was testing their new gamma bomb at the military base. When Bruce Banner saw Rick on the test site, he ran out and threw him into a trench. As the gamma bomb exploded the trench protected Rick from the radiation. However, Bruce Banner was exposed to the gamma radiation himself. Rick was present when Bruce Banner first transformed into the Hulk.
When Doctor Octopus took over Gamma Base, Rick was able to sneak into the base and rescue the hostages.
