Red Dog Melvin was an escaped convict that was captured by Parafino.
Biography[]
When Red Dog Melvin escaped prison, Parafino lured him into his wax museum. Parafino covered Red Dog Melvin in wax which placed him in a suspended animation. Parafino planned on using Red Dog Melvin as bait for Spider-Man.
Parafino's plan worked. When Spider-Man heard about the Red Dog Melvin wax figure he went to Parafino's museum to investigate. However, Spider-Man was captured by Parafino. Spider-Man turned up the heat in Parafino's museum which melted all the wax figures. This also melted the wax that was holding Red Dog. Red Dog Melvin wanted revenge on Parafino and went after him. However, Spider-Man captured both of them in his webbing and they were turned over to the police.
