- Punisher is from the Yost Universe series The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
Punisher is a vigilante. Little is known about him, except that he "punishes" others, likely criminals. He apparently uses a skull logo, or this was a reference to mean he uses lethal force.
After punishing someone, the newspaper Excelsior ran an article on the front page about him. A taxi driver in New York City was reading the article when Whirlwind attacked followed by Wasp and Ant-Man.
