The woman known only as Psylocke is a mutant with psychic powers.

Psylocke was a lone warrior who practiced theft with a cause. She had the mutant ability to fire psychic knives to incapacitating her opponents from a distance.

She came into direct conflict with Archangel and later Sabretooth and Mystique. She referred to her brother fighting to help mutants.

After Jean Grey and Cyclops left the X-Men to lead a normal life, she joined alongside Bishop.

Psylocke is a psychic with powers of telepathy. She can also create a psychic blade.

She is also expertly trained in hand-to-hand combat and can fight like any ninja.

Psylocke was voiced by Tasha Simms.

The first version of the character outside the comics.

The version is based on her first body, but second costume.

The series did not specify that she and Captain Britain were siblings, just a mention that her brother helps mutants. However, they are related in the comics. (See also Cyclops and Havok)

Pyslocke did not join the team in X-Men, but in the comic book continuation X-Men '92 she did.

In the Comics

Her real name is Elizabeth Braddock. A misspelling error made it Elisabeth when bringing the British comics to the United States. That name is not used in the series.
