Presents is a gift given from one person to another. It is commonly given on birthdays, Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzza. Presents are typically wrapped up in special paper so that the person who receives the gift does not immediately know what it is.
One Christmas Peter Parker found a picture of himself, his aunt May, and his late uncle Ben. He wrapped it up and put it under the Christmas tree with several other presents. After he defeated the Sinister Six on Christmas Eve and got home, he handed it to May. She opened it was touched by the gesture. She put it on their mantle and hugged her nephew. Presumably they opened the rest of the gifts.
