Peter Quill is a human/celestial hybrid.
Biography[]
Peter Quill is the son of a celestial named Ego and a human woman. In 1988, Ego hired Yondu to retrieve Peter from Earth and deliver his son to him. However, the Ravagers accidentally took T'Challa instead.
Twenty years later Ego approached an adult Peter Quill who was working at a Dairy Queen and introduced himself. Ego was planning to use Peter to expand his consciousness to other planets. This process, known as the "Expansion", would have destroyed all life on Earth. It is unknown if Ego succeeded.

Peter Quill is voiced by Brian T. Delaney replacing Chris Pratt who played Star-Lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
