Peace is a term to mean the absence of conflict as well as the freedom from fear of violence. It is usually used to describe the periods of time in a nation between wars, but can also mean a calmness of the mind.

Wolverine went to Canada seeking to get away from violence and to find peace. He found it with an Inuit tribe, finding it strange to feel it after many years of violence.
