Biography[]
Meeting With the Survivors[]
A general in the Dora Milaje, Okoye was one of the few survivors on Earth of the quantum virus that turned most of Earth's population into zombies. Following the disappearance of King T'Challa, Okoye came to America and met up with a group of survivors that included the few remaining Avengers and their allies. Several weeks later Okoye and the other survivors received a coded message from another group of survivors that claimed to have found a cure for the quantum virus. Sharon Carter deduced that the message was coming from Camp Lehigh in New Jersey.
Battle at Grand Central Station[]
To get to Camp Lehigh, Okoye and the survivors went to Grand Central Station. Okoye ordered Peter Parker, Hope van Dyne, and Bruce Banner to see if they could hotwire a train. Okoye also ordered the others to secure the perimeter. However, Peter voiced his concerns about splitting up asking if Okoye had ever seen any horror movies. Okoye partnered with James Barnes and began to look around. Happy Hogan was killed by Hawkeye and Okoye and Winter Soldier were attacked by Falcon.
Falcon divebombed toward Okoye. However, Okoye did a flip in the air and landed on Falcon's back. As Falcon flew to the ledge of one of the upper platforms Okoye was nearly crashed into the wall. Okoye jumped off Falcon's back and landed on a balcony. Falcon then went after Bucky who was firing his automatic weapon at him and knocked him to the ground. Falcon approached Bucky to devour him. However, Okoye leaped off the balcony toward Falcon and used her vibranium spear to cut Falcon in half. Okoye apologized to Bucky for having to do that to Falcon because she knew they were friends. Bucky responded that he should have been sad, but he wasn't.
After boarding the train Okoye and the others started their journey to Camp Lehigh. Okoye then apologized to Peter saying that he was right, and they should have stayed together. After Hope fought a zombified Sharon Carter everyone rushed to her aide. However, Bruce noticed that Hope had a scratch on her arm meaning she was infected with the quantum virus. Hope told everyone that they had to kill her before she turned. Okoye told Hope that they wouldn't do that because they could have been moments away from finding a cure at Camp Lehigh.
Battle at Camp Lehigh[]
As the train stopped outside Camp Lehigh, everyone saw that the base was surrounded by a horde of zombies. Okoye remarked that there was no way they could make it through the zombies safely. Hope came forward and said that they could go over the zombies. Hope grew giant sized and grabbed Okoye and the other survivors in her hands. Hope proceeded to walk through the zombies as they crawled on her and bit her. As Hope reached the fence surrounding Camp Lehigh, she placed Okoye and the others behind it. Hope fell on her back and succumbed to the quantum virus and turned into a zombie.
Inside Camp Lehigh, Okoye and the others were greeted by Vision. Vision told Okoye and the others that since the quantum virus affected the brain that he had been experimenting with the Mind stone as a possible cure. Vision then introduced Okoye and the others to Scott Lang whom he had successfully stop the spread of the virus. However, the Mind Stone was unable to save Scott's body which left him as a head that Vision placed in a glass container filled with liquid to keep him alive. Vision also explained that he did not have the necessary equipment to transmit the Mind Stone signal worldwide. Okoye said that Wakanda did have the equipment needed and Bucky began to search the base for a plane.
While searching the base, Bucky found Wanda Maximoff who was now a zombie being held in a cell. He also found T'Challa who had his leg amputated. T'Challa told Bucky that there were no other survivors at Camp Lehigh and that Vision had been luring innocent people there to use them as food for Wanda. Bucky and T'Challa reunited with the others and Bucky told them about what Vision had been doing. The presence of the survivors awakened Wanda and she escaped from her cell and attacked them. Spider-Man webbed up Wanda and Okoye threw her vibranium spear at her but this had no affect on Wanda. Vision fired a laser beam and blasted a hole in the wall leading outside. Everyone escaped the building except for Okoye. Wanda used her telekinesis to pull Okoye to her and then killed her.

Okoye is voiced by Danai Gurira who reprised the role from the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
