Nimrod is an advanced Sentinel from a dystopian future of New York in year 2055 AD. It traveled through time in order to stop Bishop.

Nimrod is an advanced Sentinel created in the future. When Bishop time-traveled to stop Senator Robert Kelly's assassination, Nimrod followed him and faced the X-Men. Nimrod proved to be a formidable enemy and even when it was destroyed, it began self-repairing before Bishop destroyed the device allowing it to remain in the present day.

At a later point, Master Mold sent Nimrod and Fitzroy back in time to kill Charles Xavier before he created the X-Men, and secretly telling Nimrod to kill Fitzroy afterwards. They succeeded in killing Xavier at first, but this was undone again by Bishop, Shard and alternate versions of Wolverine and Storm created by Xavier's death.

After its destruction by Bishop and the alternate versions of Wolverine and Storm, the remnants that remained of Nimrod would go on to merge in part with a janitor, whose son would end up inheriting its technology.

Powers

• Superhuman strength: Nimrod is stronger than most of the X-Men
• Nigh-invulnerability: Nimrod is almost invulnerable to most attacks. It was able to take attacks from multiple X-Men. It's also implied that Nimrod isn't made of metal so Magneto cannot affect it.
• Self repair: Even though Nimrod has high durability, it was eventually dismantled by the X-Men. But it showed the ability to repair itself
• Shapeshifting: Nimrod can take the appearance of any person or superhuman
• Energy blasts: Nimrod can project energy out of its hands and eyes.
• Time travel: Nimrod Sentinels can travel back and forward through time
• Advanced analysis: Nimrod can analyze and adapt to nearly any mutant power

Nimrod was following Rachel Summers.

Fought Juggernaut.

Was defeated by Rogue when she absorbed the powers of Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Kitty Pryde.
