Biography[]
When Nick Fury learned that M.O.D.O.K. was illegally downloading chick flicks from a pirate ship near Boosaaso, Somalia he sent a group of S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives consisting of U.S. Agent, Howard the Duck, and Ch'od to stop him. ("The Problem With Pirates...")
After seeing a television commercial advertising a Nick Fury action figure M.O.D.O.K. ordered one for himself. Several weeks later M.O.D.O.K. received the Nick Fury action figure in the mail. M.O.D.O.K. began to play with the Fury action figure and an action figure of himself. M.O.D.O.K. pretended that the two figures were fighting and made the action figure of him the victor. As M.O.D.O.K. was gloating about beating Nick Fury the real Nick Fury snuck up behind M.O.D.O.K.. As soon as M.O.D.O.K. realized that the real Nick Fury was behind him, Fury began to repeatedly punch him. (" Unleash the Fury")
