Namor, also known as Sub-Mariner, is the prince of Atlantis.
Biography[]
Chameleon anonymously sent invitations to the Spider-Friends, Captain America, Namor, Shanna and Doctor Strange inviting them to a mansion on Wolf Island for a get together. Each of these heroes had once defeated Chameleon and foiled his plans and Chameleon intended to get revenge on them. As soon as all the heroes arrived at Wolf Island Castle they all discovered that Chameleon was the one that invited them and that he intended to kill them. Because Namor had been out of the water too long he found a pool and got into it. However, the liquid in the pool was rubbing alcohol, not water, that was put in there by Chameleon. The alcohol dried out Namor's aquatic body which caused him to get weaker. Chameleon then captured Namor and began to pick off the other heroes one by one. However, Spider-Man was able to free Namor and the other heroes and together they defeated Chameleon.
When pollution from the surface world poisoned his cousin, Namorita, Namor quickly took her to a hospital in New York City. Angered at what had happened to Namorita, Namor attacked New York City which drew the attention of Spider-Man. Eventually Namor and Spider-Man discovered that the pollution was being caused by Kingpin who had partnered with Silvermane, Hammerhead and Caesar Cicero. Kingpin managed to capture Namor and nearly killed him. However, Namor was rescued by Spider-Man. Namor and Spider-Man then captured Kingpin and the other crime lords.
