Morrat is the warlord of the Skrull military.
Biography[]
Morrat was the greatest Warlord of the Skrull military. He was also in love with Princess Anelle, daughter of Skrull emperor, Dorrek VII. Despite this, Dorrek VII did not give Morrat his blessing to marry his daughter. However, Morrat planned to earn Dorrek VII's blessing by capturing the Fantastic Four.
Morrat was successful in capturing the Fantastic Four and brought them to the Skrull homeworld. However, Morrat had lied to Anelle and was really planning on using the Fantastic Four to overthrow Dorrek VII so he could become the new emperor of the Skrulls.
At the time the Fantastic Four had lost their powers. Morrat told the Fantastic Four that if they didn't help him kill the Emperor, he would kill them. Mister Fantastic then gave Morrat a ray gun that was on their ship. Morrat tried to use the ray gun to kill the Fantastic Four. However, the ray gun was actually a device Reed had created to restore their powers.
When Dorrek Vll arrived at Morrat's palace he ordered his men to kill the Fantastic Four. However, Anelle informed her father that the Fantastic Four had prevented an assassination attempt on his life which was ordered by Morrat. Morrat was then placed under arrest.
