Mordred is an evil sorcerer.
Biography[]
Centuries ago Mordred was banished to another dimension called the Land of Shades by the Black Knight. In the present Mordred's demon salve known as Darkon, who thousands of years ago was turned to stone, was discovered by archaeologist. Mordred proclaimed that during the next full moon Darkon would be awakened and would bring him Black Knight's Ebony Blade so he could use its magic to escape the Land of Shades.
Sometime later the Darkon statue was brought to Eastern State University. When moonlight touched the statue Darkon was brought back to life. However, the Black Knight was also resurrected. As Black Knight fought Darkon he was soon joined by the Spider-Friends. However, Darkon was able to get the Ebony Blade and return to the Land of Shades. Black Knight used the Merlin Medallion to transport himself and the Spider-Friends to the Land of Shadows. However, they were all quickly captured by Mordred.
Mordred was about ready to use the Ebony Blade to open a portal to Earth and lead his demon army to conquer the planet. However, Mordred was opposed by the Black Knight and the Spider-Friends. Black Knight then used to the Merlin Medallion to banish Mordred back to the Land of Shades. When Mordred returned to the Land of Shades he was killed by his demon army because of his failure to free them.
