Mordo is a master of the dark mystical arts, ally to Dormammu, and archenemy of Doctor Strange.
Biography[]
Mordo, under Ancient One's orders, led other sorcerers against creatures sent by Doemammu, but grew resentful of newcomer Stephen Strange and joined Dormammu. After Mordo failed in defeating Strange, Dormammu killed him.
Background[]
Baron Mordo was voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.
The film created the aspect that Mordo trained Stephen before turning. This aspect would be retained for the live-action Marvel Studios Doctor Strange film.
In the Comics[]
His name was Karl Mordo and had the title of baron. It is unknown if the animated character lacks it or simply doesn't mention it.
