Mister Hyde is a criminal that created a chemical to give himself super strength.
Biography[]
Calvin Zabo was once Dr. Donald Blake's laboratory assistants. However, Dr. Blake discovered that Zabo was stealing medical supplies from his office and fired him. After this, Zabo vowed to get revenge on Dr. Blake. For years Zabo had been obsessed with the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and created a chemical similar to the one that Dr. Jekyll created in the book. Zabo, now calling himself Mister Hyde, turned to a life of crime.
Mister Hyde went to Dr. Blake's office and threw Blake out of a window. However, Dr. Blake was able to transform into Thor and save himself. Later, Mister Hyde learned that Dr. Blake was saved by Thor and decided to kill the God of Thunder. Mister Hyde created a chemical that allowed him to shape-shift. Mister Hyde used this chemical to take the appearance of Thor. Using Thor's appearance Mister Hyde began to commit robberies around New York City.
Mister Hyde later kidnapped Donald Blake and Jane Foster. Mister Hyde took Dr. Blake to an abandoned building and tied him up. Mister Hyde also armed a bomb that was set to explode in 24 hours and left with Jane. Mister Hyde later revealed to Jane that he was planning to steal the Polaris Submarine which he referred to as "The crime of the century". However, Donald Blake was able to escape and fought Mister Hyde as Thor. However, when Mister Hyde began to lose his battle with Thor, he quickly escaped. Sometime later, Mister Hyde was found and arrested.
Mister Hyde and Cobra were later bailed out of jail by Loki. Loki then used his magic to enhance Mister Hyde and Cobra's power and sent them to kidnap Jane Foster. However, Thor found Hyde and Cobra and tricked them into fighting each other. Mister Hyde and Cobra were then defeated by Thor.
