Biography

While in college, Reed Richards met a man named Victor Von Doom. Doom was extremely rude and Reed did not like him. Later Victor was conducting and experiment. Reed tried to warn Victor that his calculations were off, but Victor did not listen to him. However, Reed was right and the experiment exploded and severely scarred Victor's face. Reed's roommate during his college years was ff67. Reed and Ben became good friends.

When World War II started Reed worked behind enemy lines as an agent for the Office of Strategic Services.

Sometime after World War II ended Reed met and began to date Sue Storm.

Reed also developed a space shuttle and was planning to go into space. However, Reed needed a pilot so he approached Ben and asked him to pilot the shuttle. Ben agreed and him, Reed, Sue, and Sue's brother, Johnny traveled to space in the shuttle. However, the shuttle was bombarded by cosmic rays and when the ship crashed on Earth the four of them discovered that the cosmic rays had given them super-powers. Reed's body was now like rubber and he could stretch himself great lengths. They all decided to form a group of heroes called the Fantastic Four to use their powers to protect mankind. Reed was the leader of the Fantastic Four and took the code name, Mister Fantastic.

Mister Fantastic would often build scientific devices to help the Fantastic Four defeat their enemies.
