Michael Rooker (born April 6, 1955) is an actor who plays Yondu in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and reprises the role for What If...? and How Yondu Ruined Christmas.
He has a long history with James Gunn and has appeared in all of his films.
Biography[]
He played Yondu in Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
He is most famous for playing the titular character in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer as well as Merle Dixon, older brother to Norman Reedus's character, on The Walking Dead.
