Long ago, pyramids were built for the mutant Apocalypse.
In modern day times, Mystique drugged and dumped Scott Summers in the deserts outside of Mexico City. Without his ruby glasses or visor he was essentially blind.
When Apocalypse reemerged, he used his pyramids to try to take over the planet. He was stopped by the combined forces of X-Men, Brotherhood of Mutants, Acolytes, and S.H.I.E.L.D..
