  • If you looked at existing categories, you would notice that characters from different animated universe do not have the same category. Mutants from Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends are not in the same category as mutants from X-Men or mutants from Wolverine and the X-Men. The only type of category that crosses continuities are those for real world categorization such as Original Character and Unnamed Characters. Marvel Database may use categories across all universes, but we don't.

I've noticed this said to you on several other wikis so I'll repeat it here. Please ask an admin before creating categories. Some, like Scientists, are useful and I hadn't thought of them before. But then there's stuff like Title Characters which is unnecessary and Metahumans which is too vague while the word was never used in the Marvel Animated Universe. Just ask before you go around changing fifty or so articles.

    • Sorry but fan-made blogs, and other similar things, don't mean much on this wiki. You're free to do it, but it's not a source we're going to use. And I'm well aware of TV Tropes, but it's just another wiki and, while an interesting read, not a reliable source.

As far as the examples you gave, The Super Hero Squad Show characters and Spider-Man of Ultimate Spider-Man seem to break the fourth wall. But that's about all. The characters of Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. speak to an in-universe camera in reality show style testimonials. Green Goblin bends the fourth wall but never breaks it, meaning he says things that are in-jokes for the benefit of the audience but never directly speaks to the audience. Stan Lee never speaks to the audience in Spider-Man and is the narrator in those series he's not a character in.

    • Perhaps you should consider doing some edits other than just adding categories. Maybe write some biographies or episode summaries until you get a better grasp of how this wiki does things.
