It was his first time to fight foes in Japan. He often has some help from Wolverine who was in Japan to investigate the A.I.M. activities. Tony then discovered that Yinsen was alive and a member of the Zodiac wearing the stolen Iron Man Dio Armor forced to fight Stark convinced by the leader of Zodiac that Tony hasn't changed after the latter's escape through the Mark I armor and Yinsen's sacrifice.
 
 
After realizing the truth,Yinsen redeemed himself by sacrificing himself so Iron Man will survive the onslaught of Zodiac warrior mechs. Tony also discovered that Dr. Chika was a brainwashed Zodiac warrior and attempted to snap out of it,but she almost killed him until she stabbed herself from Zodiac leader's control.
 
 
Iron Man then discovered that Karoda is behind all of this:the stealing of the Dio armor;leader of Zodiac;and brainwashing others to kill him. Karoda also plans to restores his country as military power through Stark's armor.
 
 
Tony has decided to end this matter once and for all..
 
 
He fought Karoda using Satseru armor in a brtual battle on Tokyo. Karoda nearly destroyed Iron Man until Dr. Chika sacrificed her life to transfer her mind into the Arc Reactor to give Stark tremendous power to fire a massive uni-beam blast that totally obliterates Karoda and Japan was saved.
 
 
A month later, the Arc Reactor was activated and ready to provide Japan free energy source. As for Tony Stark came home back to America along with his Iron Man and Dio armors where he was welcomed by Pepper and the people waiting for him in the airport.

Marvel Anime: Iron Man is an upcoming series that will be part of the Marvel Anime series along with Marvel Anime: Wolverine, Marvel Anime: X-Men, and Marvel Anime: Blade. It will be the sixth series to prominently feature Iron Man after The Marvel Super Heroes, Iron Man, Iron Man: Armored Adventures, The Super Hero Squad Show, and The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Story

Tony Stark decides to retire as Iron Man and travels to Japan to train a group of pilots to try out the Iron Man Dio Armor as his replacement, as well as supervising the new Arc Reactor that would give Japan free energy. Things begin to fall apart when the Dio Armor is stolen by the organization known as Zodiac. Tony is forced out of retirement to once again wear the Iron Man Armor to defend Japan from Zodiac. Along the way, he must also investigate AIM as well as facing off against his former friend Ho Yinsen. But when he learns that Dr. Chika Tanaka is a Zodiac agent, he discovers a conspiracy to use his technology to make Japan a major military power once again.
