On a dark and stormy night, [[Mandarin]] and [[MODOK]] guide a cargo ship into one of [[Justin Hammer]]'s docks. Taking up the entire cargo hold is a single artifact found in an extinct volcano in [[Latin America]], an enormous [[robot]] named [[Ultimo]], whose purpose has been long lost. Ultimo wakes up and destroy's Hammer's robots trying to tear it apart for scrap. Mandarin tries to take control of it but Ultimo bursts through the doors into the [[Storm (Event)|storm]] beyond. It eventually makes its way to [[Baja California]] destroying everything in its way as it goes to fulfill its mysterious mission.

In Italy, [[Iron Man|Tony Stark]] holds a party aboard his [[yacht]], the ''[[Iron Maiden]]''. [[War Machine|James Rhodes]] shows him a news broadcast of a couple who saw Ultimo, thinking it was a [[George Lucas]] special effect, and Tony realizes Mandarin is behind it. Tony suits up as [[Iron Man Armor|Iron Man]] and heads to the robot. Ultimo destroys a [[Mexican]] village before Mandarin attaches a device to finally control it. Iron Man attacks but is easily overwhelmed. Mandarin stops Ultimo just before it destroys the hero, so he can take him prisoner. [[Force Works]] gather and realize Ultimo is heading towards a [[Stark Enterprises]] vibranium storage, which it could use to cause mass devastation. They head to stop it while [[Century]] goes to rescue Iron Man.

Force Works arrive to stop Ultimo but they too are overwhelmed. During the battle, War Machine destroys Mandarin's device causing Ultimo to return to its original mission. Meanwhile, Mandarin tortures Iron Man hoping to find out who is inside the armor. After he thinks he killed the hero, Century arrives and saves Iron Man. Back at the [[Iron Man Armory|armory]], Force Works gathers to figure out their next move. [[Hawkeye]] tells them Ultimo is heading to a spot in the Southern [[California]] desert. The team heads to fight it again while Iron Man and [[Scarlet Witch]] stay behind to study Ultimo. In the desert, Ultimo begins tapping into [[Earth]]'s core, which could disintegrate the planet.

Iron Man and Scarlet Witch realize that Ultimo's control switch is in another dimension. They devise an arrow for [[Hawkeye]] that can penetrate it. Meanwhile, Force Works has stopped Ultimo's process but has captured [[Spider-Woman]]. Iron Man and War Machine fly around Ultimo to open a cosmic window and Hawkeye hits the control. With Ultimo down, Iron Man decides to bring it to Stark Enterprises for study. Later, Tony throws a party for Rhodey. Spider-Woman is studying Ultimo when Tony convinces her to join them. When she is gone, Ultimo's eyes begin glowing again.

MODOK First Look 02

M.O.D.O.K.

M.O.D.O.K. is an upcoming series from Marvel Animation set to premiere in early 2021. It stars Patton Oswalt as the voice of the titular character.

MODOK has run A.I.M. into the ground as leader. He sells the organization to a Silicon Valley tech giant where he must balance his new work environment along with his crumbling family life.

It will take place in a shared universe with the upcoming series Hit Monkey, leading up to the crossover series The Offenders (named in parody of Marvel Studios's live-action crossover series The Defenders).

Uatu Recaps Silver Surfer Origins

"The Origin of the Silver Surfer, Part Three" is the third episode of Silver Surfer and the segment part of the three-part series premiere. Written by Larry Brody while directed by Roy Allen Smith and Tom McLaughlin, it originally aired on February 21st, 1998.

While over the planet Earth, Galactus (James Blendick)i s confronted by his herald, Silver Surfer (Paul Essiembre.
