The Guardians of the Galaxy are a team seen in the The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes episode "Michael Korvac". It is comprised of Star-Lord (Steve Downes), Adam Warlock (Kirk Thornton), Groot (Troy Baker), Rocket Raccoon (Greg Ellis), and Quasar (Moira Quirk). This is based on the original version of the revival team, except for the absence of Drax and Gamora. This was the first time the team was seen outside the comics. Star-Lord started the team to protect the galaxy from terrible threats. Whenever Adam Warlock senses an imbalance in the power of the universe, the team heads to that point to confront it.
