While rebuilding the {{C|Xavier Mansion|wxm}}, {{C|Emma Frost|wxm}} ([[Kari Wahlgren]]) comes to the {{C|X-Men|wxm}} wanting to join. {{C|Wolverine|wxm}} ([[Steven Blum]]) knows about her dark past and refuses to let her join. However, she offers to run Cerebro since they need a telepath. After {{C|Forge|wxm}} ([[Roger Craig Smith]]) finishes its completion, Emma finds that {{C|Charles Xavier|wxm}} ([[Jim Ward]]) is in {{C|Genosha|wxm}}, which is ruled by {{C|Magneto|wxm}} ([[Tom Kane]]).
The {{C|Brotherhood of Mutants|wxm}} comprised of {{C|Domino|wxm}} ([[Gwendoline Yeo]]), Avalanche (James Patrick Stuart), {{C|Quicksilver|wxm}} (Mark Hildreth), and {{C|Blob|wxm}} (Stephen Stanton) attack a {{C|Mutant Response Division|wxm}} convoy to free their member {{C|Toad|wxm}} (A. J. Buckley). They warn the MRD that they will be coming after Senator {{C|Robert Kelly|wxm}} (Richard Doyle) next. {{C|Warren Worthington II|wxm}} ([[Jim Ward]]) and his {{C|Archangel|wxm|son}} ([[Liam O'Brien]]) go to Kelly's speech where he responds to the Brotherhood's threats by revealing the {{C|Sentinel Prowler|wxm}}, a spider-like robot to hunt {{C|mutant|wxm}}s. The Prowler activates, spots {{C|Rogue|wxm}} (Kieren van den Blink), and chases her into an alley. Angel appears and distracts it until {{C|Wolverine|wxm}} ([[Steven Blum]]) destroys it. Wolverine explains to the two that he is trying to reform the {{C|X-Men|wxm}} and wants their help. She is still upset that he constantly left her while Angel claims he can help better through his family's money.

Wolverine finds {{C|Cyclops|wxm}} ([[Nolan North]]) and is able to successfully recruit him to the team again, promising that Xavier will return. The team boards the Blackbird and heads off to Genosha trying to avoid being undetected. While sneaking through the palace, Magneto pulls Wolverine to him. The other X-Men arrive and battle the master of magnetism but he proves too much for even their combined might.
Later, the Brotherhood find Rogue and try to recruit her to the team. Rogue passes on the offer, but Domino says they don't turn their back on each other and will get results. Meanwhile, Wolverine tracks {{C|Cyclops|wxm|Scott Summers}} ([[Nolan North]]) to a rundown motel and tries to recruit him. For his effort, he is blasted out of the room. The Brotherhood try to get to Kelly, but the MRD is guarding him. They head to the Worthington home and find Worthington II. Using her absorbing powers, Rogue discovers where Kelly is going to be and how to get to him.

The {{C|mutant|wxm}}s stop fighting and Wolverine explains his invasion. Magneto takes them to the comatose Xavier, who he has been taking care of. The team deny his request for them to settle in Genosha and take Xavier home. Then a vision of Xavier arrives from the future. The future Xavier tells them that he woke up twenty years from then to find a dystopian world ruled by {{C|Sentinel|wxm|giant robots}} (Ward). He tells the team that they must stop this future, and that Wolverine must lead the team. As Xavier, then able to walk with braces, runs off to flee the robots, Wolverine tells them that the world needs the X-Men.
In the ruins of the {{C|Xavier Mansion|wxm|mansion}}, {{C|Beast|wxm}} ([[Fred Tatasciore]]) finds that {{C|Shadowcat|wxm}} (Danielle Judovits) has disappeared, {{C|Colossus|wxm}} ([[Phil Morris]]) is with his family in Russia, and {{C|Iceman|wxm}}'s ([[Yuri Lowenthal]]) parents refuse to answer them. The two go to Bobby's house getting Bobby against his parent's objections. He tells them that Kitty is on her way to {{C|Genosha|wxm}}. The three fly their stolen MRD {{C|helicopter|wxm}} to the boat getting Kitty. Rogue approaches the team informing them of what the Brotherhood will do and where. She wants to return to the team as she is not an assassin.
 
 
The Brotherhood set up outside a manufacturing plant owned by Worthington Industries where Kelly is going to make a speech. Domino begins firing a sniper rifle into the room and the X-Men fly the helicopter into the building. The X-Men and MRD begin fighting each other while both are trying to protect Kelly. Television cameras catch the action, including Wolverine attacking the government agents. Angel witnesses Rogue disappearing during the chaos. The X-Men realize it's a trap to make them look like the bad guys and flee. Later, Kelly promises that the Mutant Registration Act will pass. Angel congratulates Logan saying his actions were what {{C|Charles Xavier|wxm}} (Ward) would have done. Elsewhere, the Brotherhood welcome Rogue onto the team.

X-Men WXM

"Hindsight, Part Three" is the third and final part of the Wolverine and the X-Men series premiere. It originally aired on September 20, 2008 in Canada and January 30 in the United States. The episode was written by Greg Johnson and Craig Kyle while directed by Nick Filippi.

While rebuilding the Xavier Mansion, Emma Frost (Kari Wahlgren) comes to the X-Men wanting to join. Wolverine (Steven Blum) knows about her dark past and refuses to let her join. However, she offers to run Cerebro since they need a telepath. After Forge (Roger Craig Smith) finishes its completion, Emma finds that Charles Xavier (Jim Ward) is in Genosha, which is ruled by Magneto (Tom Kane).
