Martha Stark is the wife of Walter Stark and mother to Tony Stark.
Biography[]
Little is known about the history of Martha.
At some point she met Walter and got married, eventually having a son. Her husband had an accident at Stark Enterprises and died.
Background[]
Martha was voiced by Dimitra Arliss.
The first version of the character outside the comics, and currently the only animated version seen.
For reasons unknown, her name was changed from Maria to Martha.

Her first name is Maria and her maiden name is Carbonell.
She tried to keep Tony from seeing his father's alcoholism, though was not always successful.
Howard built an artificial intelligence based on Maria's brain.
Maria died in the same car accident as Howard.
