Mark I Armor is from the Yost Universe series The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

The Mark I Armor is the first armor designed by Tony Stark. It became the basis for all his subsequent armors.

History

The Mark I was the armor Tony built when he first became Iron Man. It did not have any advanced technology, though it provided him with increased strength and durability as well as various weapons.

Though he kept the armor, Tony rarely used it again. He built new armors using Stark Industries technology.

He put it on display alongside his other armors in the armory.

When Ultron sought to destroy the Avengers, it took over all of Iron Man's armors except this one due to its lack of hackable technology. Tony used the armor to fight Ultron, though it was heavily damaged.

Background

The design is based on the modern interpretation of the armor, as seen in The Invincible Iron Man and the Iron Man film.
