Loki is from the Marvel Cinematic Universe series What If...?.

Loki is the son of Odin and the prince of Asgard.

Biography[]

After learning that Thor had been murdered on Earth, Loki went there. Upon arriving on the Earth, Loki, who had also brought the Asgardian military, was met by Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Loki informed Fury that Asgard would conquer Earth as retribution for the death of Thor. Loki attacked Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. with the Casket of Ancient Winters, using it to freeze everything in its path in ice. However, Fury told Loki that the same person that killed Thor also killed two of his agents and suggested that they work together. Loki replied that Fury had until the next sun rise to deliver his brother's killer or else he would destroy Earth.

Nick Fury eventually learned that the assassin was Hank Pym who blamed S.H.I.E.L.D. for the death of his wife and daughter. Working together Loki and Fury were able to set a trap for Hank Pym and captured him. However, instead of going back to Asgard, Loki stayed on Earth and told the leaders of the world that he intended to rule over them. To fight Loki, Nick Fury decided to recruit Captain America and Captain Marvel into the Avengers.

Loki is voiced by Tom Hiddleston who reprised the role from the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
