The man known only as Leader was the ruler of Genosha.
Biography[]
He pretended to be a freedom fighter, working with Cable. However, when they took the country he became the unquestioned ruler alienating Cable. He worked to make mutants slaves to build the country's infrastructure while promoting stories that the nation was mutant friendly. He worked with Henry Peter Gyrich and Bolivar Trask to build Master Mold. However, Cable appeared and attacked. The X-Men destroyed the dam that was being built flooding the area. Leader was apparently killed when hit with the rush of water.
