Lance James Henriksen (born May 5, 1940) is an actor who plays Grim Reaper on The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Biography[]

He appeared in The Terminator along with Paul Winfield and Earl Boen. He was originally cast as the title character before Arnold Schwarzenegger was cast. He then took the role of Detective Hal Vukovich.

He is most famous for playing the android Bishop in Aliens and Alien 3, the latter also playing a second android Bishop II. As a tribute to the role, he was cast as Charles Bishop Weyland in the prequel film Alien vs. Predator. He and actor Bill Paxton have the distinction of being killed by a Terminator, Predator, and Alien. He voiced Charles for the video game Alien vs. Predator that tied into the film and Bishop for Aliens: Colonial Marines.

He played Ed Harley in the cult classic Pumpkinhead reprising the role for Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes and Pumpkinhead 4: Blood Feud. He played Admiral Steven Hackett in the video games Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. He voiced the main antagonist General Shepherd in the video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
