Sergei Kravenoff, also known as Kraven the Hunter, is a highly skilled hunter.
Biography[]
Little is known about the early life of Sergei. He started going under the name Kraven.
At some point he killed Mr. and Mrs. Gaines leaving their twin children, Roxanne and Roland Gaines, orphaned. The two, who had hypnotic psychic powers, swore revenge on Kraven. However, their powers were useless on him as he could sense their deception. The two grew up and became criminals.
Kraven came across the New York City based hero Spider-Man. He was defeated and sent to a Russian Gulag. Eventually he escaped and returned to New York.
Spider-Man appeared and tried to kill him. The hero kept talking about him killing someone, but Kraven had no idea what he was talking about. Spider-Man relented and he was arrested by Officer Barr.

Kraven was voiced by Michael Dorn.
Kraven has a black leather jacket rather than the lions mane vest of the comics and other series. This was done because the computers could not animate the necessary hairs. This is also why Mary Jane Watson has short hair.
In the Comics[]
Kraven captured Spider-Man, seemingly killing him, and buried him alive. He took his place to be a better Spider-Man. When the real hero reappeared Kraven killed himself.
