Kotep is an ancient demon sorcerer.
Biography[]
Thousands of years before modern civilization, sorcerers fought for supremacy. Kotep was the most dangerous of these sorcerers. However, Kotep was opposed by a good sorcerer named Brazman. Kotep and Brazman fought a fierce battle with their magic. However, Brazman was able to turn Kotep into a stone state and put an end to his evil.
In the present, Kotep's stone body was an exhibit at a museum. A professor that worked at the museum used a magic spell to revive Kotep. Kotep used his magic to summon a demon and it attacked students that were at the museum. Spider-Man tried to stop Kotep but failed.
Kotep later summoned his demon army to help him conquer Earth. However, the demons told Kotep that first he had to prove he was a capable leader by killing Spider-Man. Kotep lured Spider-Man into a trap. However, Spider-Man learned that Kotep's scepter was the source of his power. When Spider-Man destroyed the scepter, Kotep vanished.
