Kang is a time travelling supervillain.

Biography

Kang wanted to destroy the Avengers so that they couldn't stop him conquering the multiverse. To defeat the Avengers, Kang decided to study them. To do this Kang used a device called the Multiverse Scanning Device to spy on various teams of Avengers from across the multiverse.

At some point Kang encountered a variant of himself from an alternate dimension. At first the two Kangs decided to work together. However, Kang could not tolerate his variant and the two parted ways. Kang then continued his quest to find a way to defeat the Avengers so he could conqueror all of time.
