Julie Bennett (born January 24, 1932; died March 31, 2020) was an actress who played Aunt May on fourth and fifth seasons of Spider-Man, following the death of Linda Gary. She also played an old woman on the 2000 Spider-Man video game.


Other notable works include The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show, Adventures of Superman, Leave it to Beaver, Dragnet, Mister Magoo, The Bullwinkle Show, The Yogi Bear Show, McHale's Navy, King Kong Escapes, Lois Lane on The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure, The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour, Get Smart, The Bob Hope Show, Dinky Dog, Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels, The Real Ghostbusters, The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show, Garfield and Friends.

During the 2020 coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, Bennett acquired the disease. On March 31st, she passed away following complications at the age of eighty-eight. The only survivors were Carol, Nick, and Mark Scroggs who were her friends and "mutually adopted family."[1]
