Adolphus Raymondus Vernon Agopsowicz (born February 24, 1932; died February 1, 2005), known as John Keith Vernon, was a Canadian actor who played Namor, Iron Man, and Glenn Talbot on The Marvel Super Heroes; Doctor Strange on Spider-Man; and Thaddeus Ross on The Incredible Hulk.

The Fantastic Four episode "The Mask of Doom, Part One" mistakingly credited Vernon with voicing Doctor Doom when it was really Neil Ross.

Biography[]

Other notable roles include Big Brother in 1984, Hawaii Five-O, the mayor in Dirty Harry, Mannix, Mission: Impossible, Gunsmoke, S.W.A.T., Dean Vernon Wormer in Animal House and Delta House, The Walt Disney Company's Herbie Goes Bananas, CHiPs, Airplane II: The Sequel with Robert Hays, The A-Team, MacGyver, Murder, She Wrote, Knight Rider, Ernest Goes to Camp, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Tales from the Crypt, Doogie Howser, M.D. with Neil Patrick Harris, Matrix, Rupert Thorne on Batman: The Animated Series, Pinky and the Brain, Walker, Texas Ranger, and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.

He died on February 1st, 2005 after complications from heart surgery at the age of seventy-two.
